How to get in better shape for wrestling?

IS IT POSIBAL TO LOSE ABOUT 20 LBS AND GAIN ABOUT 20 LBS OF MUSCLE IN 2 WEEKS IM ALREDY IN SHAPE BUT I WANT TO GET IN BETTER SHAPE FOR WRESTLING SEASON

nah, I dont think so. I’m not expert on body building and stuff but its not healthy to loose that much weight in two weeks alone. I mean 20 pounds??? Thats a lot. then havin to gain it all back…thats really unhealthy.

How much do you weigh anyway?

Conventional wisdom is that you can not loose fat and gain muscle at the same time. The theory here is that loosing fat requires a deficit of calories while building muscle requires a surplus.

Last year I managed to gain 18 lbs of muscle and loose 26 lbs of fat but mind you this was in a year rather than 2 weeks. I don’t think either loosing 20 lbs of fat or gaining 20 lbs of muscle is possible in 2 weeks let alone both.

Maybe not that much but you might be able to gain a substantial amount of muscle. It’s not healthy, althought I’m sure I’m not telling you anything, but try lifting weights a couple times a day, run a lot, and try drinking tons of water otherwise you will be really sore. There are also those protein drinks that help build muscle, my brother used them and they worked really well, I’m just not sure how fast. Oh yah, remember to increase the weights each time you lift.
