Does weight increase after first two weeeks of exercise?
Hi,
I am a female with height 5.3” (159 cms) Age: 23. I never used to do any exercise.. Two weeks back I started going for morning walk for around 30-40 mins. and 5 minutes yoga after that. Last week I checked my weight, It was 64.9 Kgs.. ( which is too much for my height) and today when I checked, it was 66.1 kgs.. (increased by 1.1 kg)..
I am very depressed and seriously demotivated for anything in life..
I have stopped eating any junk food also from last ywo weeks..
Please tell me what can be the possible reason for increase in weight..
Is it true that weight increases for first few weeks of starting the exercise and then it decreases.?
I want to reach to 50kgs asap..
please tell what should I do..

Hi. The muscle that you develope are not the kind you see in the fitness magazines.It just means that its firm and firm is good!! you will not look like a man..Are you before your period??
That’s not to far away.This might be your problem! weigh yourself once your period is over.And keep walking and eating healthy!
Hi, I can’t tell you why you are gaining weight but muscle weighs more that fat.Do your cloths fit you?Because if they do you must be doing something right.Don’t give up.But 50kg sounds a bit low 52-53kg perhaps?! Losing weight take a long time two weeks is just a start.Good luck
hey! probably its becoz muscle weighs more than fat.. but I dont want muscles too.. I feel muscular body doesnt suit women.. I just wanted to know the reason for weight gain? so that if I m missing something I can start it.. or if I m doing something wrong..

I have continued this walking and running.. My weight has come down to 61.9 from 66.1… I am happy that I have finally started losing weight.. but I dont see any inch loss..
