Do you think the banning of soccer balls in school after a parent was injured is excessive?

A Toronto school has banned soccer balls after one of the parents was hit with one and suffered a concussion.

Do you think this is excessive behaviour over a rare occurrence, or are school administrators reacting within reason?

Excessive. Everyone is worried about lawsuits these days and afraid to not take action no matter how silly it is.

really? i live alittle north of there and i never heared tht. tht is horrible! injuries from a ball helps children toughen up and getn hurt from playin is part of growing up. that is absolutly rediculious.

Very excessive. We used to kick soccer and basket balls at each other for fun in grade school :P.

yes i think it is. unless the ball was thrown in their face on purpose… well no i take that back it’s totally excessive. seriously? banning soccer balls because a parent was (i’m supposing it was an accident) accidentally injured? :s
