Does AVG, MalwareBytes, and CCleaner overlap?
Will my computer mess up if I have all 3 of these?
Should be fine. I have Avast, MalwareBytes & CCleaner on my computer (plus several others). They all do different things.
Avast (or in your case AVG) works mostly against viruses.
MalwareBytes deals with spyware/malware - and I don’t think it has real time monitoring unless you get the paid version - I used Spybot S&D for real time monitoring.
CCleaner cleans up crap left behind on you computer - temp files, bits and pieces left over from uninstall programs, and it also has a register cleaner.
For me I run in addition to those 3 - Spybot S&D, Comondo Firewall, and I use Absolute Uninstaller to uninstalling programs because it cleans up the crap left behind.
