Would I see any results in 2 weeks?

My birthday is in 2 weeks from today. I have decided that I am going to try and lose a bit of weight in this time, so my tight dress I want to wear looks a bit better. I am not overweight at all but I could be slimmer and more toned. I am slightly chunky in my thighs and my stomach is a bit squishy but I am an Australian size 10 on my top half (I think thats a 6 in America?) and a 12 on the bottom.

If I hit the gym every day until my birthday (and I have lots of free time to do it as I’m not working) would I see any results do you think? Doing mostly running and cardio. Or would it be unlikely due to me not having heaps of weight to actually lose and my body would protest..? I do go to the gym regularly, but only about 3 times a week and I don’t push myself as hard as I should. I’ve been feeling down after becoming single and not being able to find a job. I lack motivation but I will do it for my birthday if you guys think it will do anything! :)

I think working out is good no matter what your doing it for! When you do exercise think about how good your going to feel and look in that dress,then try to do an extra 5 rep’s of what ever your workout is. Push-ups sit-ups what ever it may be. Keep it up even after your birthday! Remember,you still have your next birthday to look forward too. Happy Birthday

Thanks :) I’m up to day 2 of hardcore excersising and eating healthy. My body hurts but I feel all good and energised :)

well, first of all, happy early birthday! I think that you should go for it, and try. it cant hurt to–and what can you lose? it’ll be good exercise, and if it does help, then it’ll be worth it, right? I really do think that in 2 weeks, and a major work out, (of course, you have to eat healthy, too) you will see results! maybe not too much, because of limited time, but you will probably get more “toned.” Good luck!! ^_^
