What age in Tennessee is it legal for "run-away"?

Ok I read online that it is legal for a 16 yr old girl to “run away” and 17 yr old for a boy. But I wanna know if this law has been revised or revoked. I am 17 years old and me and my adopted mother have NEVER gotten along and I have already been placed back in foster care and back in the home. I’m tired of the cussing and fighting and beating up on each other. I would just like to know how I can get out. I have no relatives in this family to live with and I am not allowed contact with my bio-logical family. So I’m hopeless and need answers. Please help me.

Don’t run away, talk to another member of your family, attempt to stay their for a while, eventually… see if maybe it can become permanent.

P.S. just remember that a smile always helps
