Producing milk

My husband and I have been trying for our second baby for a week now. It is too soon to take a pregnancy test, but I seem to be producing colostrum already! I breastfed my first, so is the colostrum still there from the first baby or could I be pregnant? It just seems very soon to be producing anything if only a week pregnant?

Well, it is way too soon for you to have begun lactating. Conception wouldn’t even have had time to occur as of yet, it takes around 14 days from the date of intercourse. Lactation does not begin until much later in pregnancy as you prob remember from your last pregnancy. Consult your dr. with this before you continue trying to conceive. (•:
