How can I motivate myself to start running again?

I’m really unmotivated and don’t enjoy running in the freezing cold rain daily but I need to so what can I do to motivate myself to get active?

Look towards the results and improvement that you will see in your health and how much better you will feel later on, then just start running a little at a time until you get back into it.

alright =D ill try that. im pretty sure if i had a tredmil i would run everyday for hours its just i have to run outside in the rain x.x

Rains daily here too. I finally went running for an assignment in P.E yesterday and im super excited to go again. Once you get started, and you go on the first or second run, it wont be too hard to go again. For me, I felt terrible and it looked like the most gloomy day Ive ever seen, but I just went out and did it. I felt so much better afterwards. All I can say is that you just DO IT. Dont think about it or anything, just do it. Like Nike ;D

i use to run but now that its winter and temps are below the 50 degrees F and constantly raining im alot more discouraged because im afraid ill get hurt or sick.

I know its freezing here too. Just make sure your bundled up, but you can still move around. I wore a oversized tee with layers under and two pairs of workout pants. You dont even have to exercise outside, you can always do it at your house or go to a gym and run on a treadmill too.

I can’t run at home and don’t have money for the a gym membership. =T I try bundling up but stand wearing pants or long sleeves as I run.

Id scare myself into doing it. Youll fall out of shape so go get to it, and its motivtion enough. Also being able to go the extra mile on my own has such a rewarding feeling.

Run through the indoor hallways of the biggest mall around, early before they fill with people.

Hmmm..i dont know then. Maybe you could do what Hayyim said. ;p Or maybe if one of your friends go to a gym they can take you with or if they have a treadmill you could use? Or you could do other exercises besides running too.

Sign up for a big hefty credit card and buy a treadmill and a big screen tv to put in front of it.

Tell yourself that you gonna be fat if you don’t run. Imagine pictures of you with 80-90 kilograms, because that’s how much you gonna weight if you quit running. :)

Listen to music. Think about yourself winning running meets and stuff. Or being the fastest girl at your school. That’s what I do, haha and I’m really competitive. :)
