Weight and motivation

Ok im 5’4 and I weight about 190 lbs I am overweight and I plan to change that I want to be about 135 or 140. I dont really know how im going to start this out but exercising strategies and a change in my diet are something im def looking into..my issue is I want to change but I never really have enough motivation to start it up like ill do it for a week and then stop and not do it again for a long time. Lately I havent been happy with my weight and health issues run in my family due to obesity. I really want to have a lot more self confidence and self esteem. I just want to have an average healthy weight. What are some way that I can keep myself motivated to keep on going until I can reach my goal??

I was in this same postion about 3 months ago I really wanted to lose weight and become more healthy it took so long to lose the weight I wanted but I did it but let me tell you, it wasnt easy I broke my diet so many times but I finally got it together I started to eat healthy only and exercise about 1 hour to 1 hour and a half everyday. I joined a gym and it helped also, avoid all junk food. you will never lose weight if you dont stop eating junk food. I know its hard thats the hardest part of this. so if you really want to lose weight, you have to do this sacrife. then when you lose the weight you wanted, then you can start to eat junk food but in moderation. drink lots and lots of water throughout the day. eat well BALANCED MEALS have little bits of whole grains, non-fat dairy products, fruits and veggies and meat or chicken or fish, but grill, bake, roast or broil only. dont fry your meats. eat 5-6 small meals a day. and dont eat past 8:00. you will feel so much healthy doing this and will lose weight it will take time because you can only lose 1 pound per week. but at least you wont gain it back once you start eating junk again. you will be able to maintain your weight loss.
