How can I get my life back together? (read more)

Please don’t judge me too harshly…

After my Father left when I was 7 when I “officially” started with stealing from stores and lying to everyone. Then a year or so passed… I stopped stealing then. 9-ish, I started burning parts of my arms, and then almost ten, Sharpie sniffing, to get high. 10 and on was just a mush mash of most of those things, plus I ran away sometimes at night, but no one noticed. 11, pain killers for over 1 1/2 years. 13, cutting. :/ I told my Mom I cut, but I didn’t tell her I have relapsed once since then… My Father and I got into a fight because he’s getting married for the third time in his life… it makes me feel worthless. I also have a girlfriend that I really shouldn’t have. It’s practically illegal for us to date!! I really don’t know what to do anymore.

Either resort to a psychiatrist and let them help you or get a close friend to help you redeem for the wrongs you have done. Whatever you do, you do have to do something. I would really consider dropping your bad habits and seeing if someone will help you through that path. Even if you have to go through a religious path. Don’t cut, no more medications (unless prescribed), no stealing, and no more burning. I mean this is not only affecting you, it is probably affecting your family and your friends.

Answer #2

If all else fails, try rehab?

Answer #3

I don’t do any of that anymore. Me and my girlfriend have made resolutions. She can’t smoke or drink, and I can’t cut or anything. She didn’t know about anything else until a little while ago… I quit burning a long time ago. Never going to relapse again because I feel even more worthless when I am off my high. I’ve been helping myself, little by little, trying to make myself happier, and not others. Also, my Mom is a psychologist… :P

Answer #4

Well then there you go, at least you are making an effort to help yourself. Kudos to you!!

Answer #5

I am also Christian, but I have been feeling very disconnected, and I’ve been trying to figure out why. No one but me and who ever reads this know the complete, full, terrible extent of these problems. sigh

Answer #6

Thank you! Makes me feel better. ^-^

Answer #7

Well, keep good faith in anything. And that is true, I might never understand. But if you’d care to, or feel better by doing so, you can FunMail me.

We ALL make mistakes/get sidetracked in life…..The best way I know of is to get involved in a good church for support, help, encouragement, and spiritual growth - The Lord is still in the business of miracles and changing lives.ask HIM in prayer..He’s always listening..know that you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers..pls feel free to funmail ANYTIME……
