How can I say thanks to my in-laws for letting me live with them?

so i moved in with my boyfriend, but we were living in his parents house, but now we found a place of our but idk how to thanl them,for taking me into their home and helping us out. I know its something that has to come out naturally but im the kind if person that is very shy and i dont know how to start.

Y not get them a card and maybe have a “thank you” dinner at ur new place

Just say thanks so much and invite them to your new place for dinner. Or write them a card if you’re really shy… you could buy them a little gift like chocolates if they like candy too or suggest you all go out to lunch? It shouldn’t be too difficult :)
