My dad wont let my sister move, what should she do?

so my sister is fifteen. she lives with my stepdad. (him and mom got a divorce and he got custody of her bc at the time, she felt bad for him.)

but, our stepdad is mean.. and he yells and gripes all the time.. so, she wants to move in with mom, and let mom get custody over her. but stepdad is still saying that she cant move in with mom, hes making her stay with him..

he thinks if they go to court and kirsten tells them she wants to live with mom for so and so reasons.. that he’ll still have custody of her..

is that true? we need some advice. please.. thanks, :)

She wants to go live with her biological mother and she’s 15? I dont see how a judge would possibly rule against your mom. They’re going to need to go to court…

Take it to court she is underage and she get’s to decide, also the reasoning why she wnats to live whit her mom and all… really she can it is all up to the judge… GOOD LUCK:)

look your sister is 15, the judge will give her the decision of which parent she wants to stay with. This has happened before and the child usually has the choice.
