If you were in the Army, what would you take with you?

a. I would take my knife to butter my toast b toilet paper to wipe my as with paper and not anything else ( you never know) c. porn magazines to take my mind off things d. tranquilizers (in case I am wounded or am about to die) e. flashlight ( =D I LOVE FLASHLIGHTS) and just wanted to know what other people would bring

Answer #1

The knife, porn, and the tranquilizers will be taken from you at the induction center. They provide the toilet paper. Enjoy your flashlight.

Speaking from experience: Paper, envelopes, and stamps - because you will be writing more letters than you have written in your entire life ‘til then. Deck of cards. (But DO NOT get suckered into gambling.) Baby powder. (You’ll know why after getting chafed on a long march.) Religious book if so inclined.

And Good Luck!!

EVERYTHING? FUucK!!! NO PEACE NO JUSTICE FUucK THE POLICE!!! <–( got that from my school’s 2nd floor bathroom stall #3 written on the door I liked it :D)

Answer #3

If the Army wants you to have it then they will issue it to you. But my fellow soldiers overseas do love chapstick.

Answer #4

Pretty much everything gets taken away from you when you go into the army.

I had to buy all new underwear(Granny panties!) because mine were black. They also took any hygiene products that “smelled too good” and threw them away.

All cell phones and electronics devices are confiscated. No candy. No weapons(not even a pocket knife…), No magazines, no books(except for religious texts)

If you’re talking about what would you take with you if you’re DEPLOYED that’s completely different.

  1. A gun/rifle. - you don’t want to be without that in combat.(in fact.. that should be your best friend in the army… sleep with it, eat with it, sh*t with it, shower with it, love it)
  2. Ammo - same as above^
  3. BABY WIPES - you don’t know when your next shower might be.
  4. Deet - or else bugs will love you.
  5. 5-50 cord/rope - you’d be amazed at what you could build.(shelter anyone?)

I would suck at being in the army but those are the things I would take

Answer #6

1 Pictures of my family. 2Cell phone that gets a signal any wheir. So I can talk to my family and friends when I really need a pick me up. 3Shanpoo conditioner and a hair brush always need to have neat hair easier to but in a ponie when its brushed. 4Lotion dont want to get ashie. 5Mp3 player with hundreds of batterys so I can have my music my anti drug.

Answer #7

I was in the Army for 8 years first as infantry then as ammo. I can tell you that the most valuable thing to have with you downrange is a very large camel bag. Another thing to bring is a mosquito net, especially if you go outside the wire a lot and sleep in miserable conditions. I’d have plenty of insect repellent, and wet wipes. A flashlight is good, a maglight is better. You also want a leg holster, something the Army did not issue at the time I was in.

And since it gets incredibly windy in the desert, you will also want rope…you’d amazed at what you have to tie down in a sand or windstorm (yourself, if you’re going to the bathroom…true story).

Answer #8

I think a bible would be a great thing to bring.

Answer #9

nothing because you cant take nothing with you too the army!!!
