ok.Im 13 and I want to go out with my friends to the movies and stuff.like by my self NOT with my parents. I’ve got straight a’s ever seens 3rd grade. I dont get in trouble and im good. I pretty sure they trust me,But im scared to ask.I dont want them to think im trying to grow up to fast. Plus my stepdad to is 62!!! is always like is there going to be boys. I dont even like boys I just want to have a good time.
just ask them. no ones going to hurt you. if youreally want to go out and you don’t think that they’d be mad, ask them directly. and like you said you don’t evedn like boys and you have straight A’s, I’m sure they’ll trust you.
It is such a relief to read this post. You have a very good head on your shoulders, most kids your age on this site are trying to find every reason in the world to hate their parents. Yeah ditto for the previous posts you seem to have a good head on your shoulders and no doubt your parents probably know it as well.
you arent growing up to fast
they are afraid of you growing up they arent going to start asking you you have to show them and go up to them and show them your ready to move on in life
ya it may take a while but if you dont speak up then dont expect any change
just ask…dont be afraid or youll never get any-where in life. trust meee.
if they say no. at least you tried and if they say. yess. then youll be much happyer…
