How to convice my dad to let me get a puppy?

soo I found this puppy I really want. my silbings all want it too my mom said yes buut then my dad said no and ruined it all -.- he needs to agree, any suggestions?

My advice would be to talk to your dad in privet. (having your whole family confront him might make him defensive as he will feel like he is being ganged up on). Talk to him about the costs of owning the puppy, how you and your family can help cover them, as well as training and making sure the puppy is happy. Assure him that the whole family will help with the pup, and make sure he lives a happy life. Also tell him that the pup will keep your siblings occupied (if they are rather young and demand a lot of attention from your parents). This will be used to appeal to his emotion and make him think ‘yeah I can use a break from them’. Basically use the classic rhetoric. :)

Show him that you can really be responsible and take care of the dog, feed and water him everyday, even take him out on walks, and pick up his waste when he goes outside. (I know it sounds gross but thats what you gotta do when you have a dog) Maybe your dad will see that you really will try. I hope this helps!
