How do you put on weight ?

I understand when you eat yo many calories you put on weight but how long does it take for you to put on weight ? and is it constantly over eating that puts on weight or can the odd over eating time put on weight??

Overeating only puts on fat weight. If you want to gain weight and still look healthy - you have to increase your calories and eat certain things - but you still do not over eat.

-Carbs -Protein -Eat Three Meals a Day -Eat Three Snacks a Day -Skim and 1 percent Milk -100 percent Fruit Juice -Each meal should include - A Starch (bread, pasta, rice, potato, cereal), Fruits and Veggies, and a protien (fish, chicken, red meat, tofu, peanut butter, legumes, egg, cheese). -Excersize - you are building muscle instead of fat -Choose calorie dense foods - Potato’s, Corn, Peas, Bananas, Cranberry Juice, Granola, etc.

I’m not sure eating yourself into oblivion will help anything. Im trying to gain a little weight but eating doesnt seem to be doing me any goo. Im not to skinny or anything but I still want to gain weight, so I eat like a cow. Yeah, its not working so follow ichibanarky’s advice.

You put weight on when you don’t use up all the calories you consume. It’s like a scale.

Overeating will help you gain weight - in the form of fat.

You have to excercise and build muscle mass or you’ll end up looking like a blimp, not to mention becoming very unhealthy.
