Why do my gums bleed when I brush my teeth?

I don’t press very hard, so why are my gums bleeding when I brush my teeth?

Answer #1

Well sometimes it isn’t gingivitis it is because you don’t floss or brush your teeth often so that is one possible thing.

Answer #2

It can be gingivitis…you should consult your dentist. I don’t know if it is though because I was listening in at the dentist office and sometimes your gums bleed because they haven’t been brushed in a while, even one day will set them off. It’s happened to me before. They will stop bleeding when you start brushing twice a day everyday for about a week.

Answer #3

Gingivitis is probably what you have go to the dentist :D and change your brush

Answer #4

Mine do that too. it bleeds because you have gum disease gingivitis. I ues Listerine for that problem.
