How can I help my dad through this divorce?

I am always crying but not around him, because I don’t want to end up seeing him cry… If he wasen’t upset I would be fine with the divorce. How can I comfort my dad during this??? =(

my dad went through the same thing always depressed wouldnt even eat. I just started hanging out with my dad more showed that no matter what I still cared and loved him.

take him to the movies and let him pick the movie out it will be good for the both of you. hope I could help!!

you just have to be there for him. talk to him about trivial things to help him take his mind off it. Treat him- take him for a nice meal or buy him something he really likes. He needs someone at this time and you could really help with the pain.
