How can I get my daughter to focus not only the art?

My teenage daughter loves art and she is good at it, but she spends too much time drawing anime models. I try to make her open up more to other subjects such as maths or science. How do I get her to not spend as much time doodling?

Sorry, but you can’t change what she’s in to. I personally love art and anime and it really annoys me when my mum’s like “Try something different.” I understand that you want her to try other things, but for the love of God, being good at art is a talent that should be praised and stupid parents trying to stop it is fucking annoying! LET THE GIRL DRAW!

an art class would be good after all art is a good talent, and you should want to help her get better but maybe you could try telling her that if she does some other work like learns more about science or maths, you would buy her some new art supplies? that should motivate her tell her that while you love that she does art, its important to learn about other subjects as well especially if shes still in school
