Hooked on drugs, how do I stop?

IM 14, AND HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO DRUGZ SINCE 9 YEARS OF AGE. I KNOW I HAVE A PROBLEM AND ITS TAKEN ME 5 YEARS TO ADMIT TO IT. AND IT AINT COOL, because I DONT GOT NO CONTROL NO MORE, THE DRUGS CONTROL ME. REHAB DIDNT WORK FOR ME. HOW DO I STOP?

Answer #1

Dude, you have so much to look forward too. Drugs are not the way to go. As I look back it was a waste of time, a waste of life and I put the people who cared about me through HELL! No mattter how much fun you think you are having, when you actually get serious about your recovery you will see what was once a smile, is now a tear. Get yourself a life, go back to school! A year from now’ some of those people who don’ t, ‘get it!’ will still be doing the same D@MN thing you left.

Life is so much more than being high.

You don’t want to be in and out of rehabs? Next step in and out of jail!

If youy are a girl, nothing pleasent for you out there if you continue in this drug use. I lost my girl to ‘crack cocaine’. Now she’s used and abuse, all because of her desire for dope! Just get off the stuff, say in rehab and PARTICIPATE! You have to want to improve your life! I got your back, you can do it! Faith and desaire are KEY! YOU CAN DO IT!

Answer #2

Stay in rehab. That is the only way. Rehab is the only thing that will help you, if you go without rehab for too long you will have lots of brain trouble. Don’t turn out like Amy Winehouse who is also addicted to drugs and alcohol, don’t say no, go!

Dear iichiiuaua, There are some things we just can’t do alone and dealing with addictions is one of them. Go back to rehab…perhaps you will have a new set of counsellors to help. Sue…good luck
