What are things that can be done or used to help gain back flexibility easier?

I used to be extremely flexible, when I did dance, but I stopped for several years and now I seem to have lost most my flexibility. I am planning on stretching everyday, but are there other things or tools that can be used to aid in this process?

I would say stretching, dancing, bending, exercising, etc… regularly would definitely help get back your flexibility.

Why not start dancing again, seeing as that is when you were most flexible?

I have a nice bath and then I dance my own routines and afterwards stretch my leg muscles since that is where im tight and less flexible.

Go back to dance and if they run a stretch and conditioning class join it. I remember one lesson of that I was able to go from not very flexible to doing the splits! If they don’t do it, suggest it to them and see what happens

Warm your body up by running (preferably), or having a hot shower. Then just do your stretches (I assume you know stretches from when you danced). Hold each one for 15 seconds, and do them each twice.
