What are some fun exercises to do while jogging to help tone the midsection?

ok im 15 and i show a horse?(western pleasure for some that know wat it is) and so im always riding or i run but i dont see any improvement from running, the doctor said it would tone my midsection but it has been 3 weeks and no results. i run for 45 min probably 2 miles and i stretch, what other exercises can i perform while im jogging or when i stop to stretch…and what other exercises can i try??im currently 130lbs and im 5’5 so i need to lose!!

you really dont need to loose weight, your at a good weight right now? but aside from jogging, because you can’t do anything ‘while your jogging’ you can do some crunches/sit ups, i know those work well.

Like kayla said you dont need to loose weight you are at a healthy weight right now. Running does tone the abdominals if you are sucking in your stomach while running and it takes months not just a few weeks. I wouldnt suggest you to loose weight though. You can do sit ups, crunches, bicycles, toe touches high knees and other exercises that will tone your stomach without making you loose to much weight

there are tons of ab work outs out there! maybe try running faster. No pain, no gain. you won’t lose a lot of weight but you’ll be more in shape and have a strong core, which is helpful when running.

Sit ups and crunches are good but also there is lifting weights tone lower body if you have any.

Try laying on your back and bringing your knees to your chest. If that’s too easy try doing it with ankle weights.

It takes longer than three weeks to see results. Keep going and you should see results in about three more weeks.

me i would listen to music hold a water bottle in my hand this may seem funny but like i’d count to like 5 then swich and hold the water in the other hand and my mind would just be thinking bout the bottle and when to switch it back and that day i ran bout like 8 km
