What are exercises specific to tone arms?

Not interested in exercise to bulk up, I just want to tone down my arms.. They’re my biggest insecurity and I want to be able to wear short-sleeved dresses/tops without constantly worrying about my arms!

Washing and waxing the car, polishing, washing windows/walls, raking leaves or shoveling, tennis …or just watch an excercise video…LOL

Answer #2
  1. Pushups

  2. Triceps extensions (with light weights): Grasp the weight and lower it onto your back underneath your head, as if you were trying to scratch your back, lift the weight until your whole arm is pointing almost straight up, without locking your elbow. Then, lower the weight to the starting position. Repeat.

  3. Triceps dips: Sit on the edge of a chair and hold the front edge of the seat on both sides of your body. Push yourself off the seat and lower your butt below it until your arms form a 90-degree angle. Then, push yourself back up.

Arm curls, also called bicep curls - will add a nice shape, tone and definition to your upper arms. You can start with 5, 8, 10, 12 lbs (4 sets) and gradually increase to 8, 10, 12, 15. No danger of bulking up, lol.
