Does running slim down thighs?

Does running make you skinnier? I have thick thighs and I want to slim it down a bit cause im short and stubby and my thighs and hips are like thick im skinny around the top with my arms but I have a problem with my legs. how do I get them to not look muscular when slimming it down? how can I get it to look like mischa bartons legs or victoria justice?

walking running jogging,any of these will help you to lose weight and tone up your legs without them getting to muscley and bulky.also try some lunges ans squats.good luck

I’ve just started running with a club and I suffer from the same prob-short stocky thighs…I notice I’m more toned but not muscley. Will keep you posted.

running does keep you slim , it also keeps your heart and lungs healthy on top of that , but just jogging over and over again over a long period of time , tends to be less effective. So keep your body guessing , make sure to switch up your running pase , jog one day then do a some sprinting or a series of both. If your body gets into a routine then it wont be working as had.

Running does help a lil’, but if you get too muscular, you might end up with huge, muscular thighs! So, you’ve got to keep your running to short runs to burn your calories without training the muscles too much.
