Is there a way to stop dreaming?

I was just wondering because my dreams are always sad or scary, is there a way to stop dreaming? because some days I wake up crying because it was so sad or scary.

I know how ya feel… last night my dream was horrible. All my family and friends died from drowning in a flood and their bodies were “piled up” on top of eachother in my bathtub. It scared the sh!t out of me. Their bodies were decomposing and stuff. it was just really scary and I have NO CLUE how I dreamed something like that… but yeah my house was like all damp and it just looked like a haunted house from a movie. And I couldn’t get out of my house, because I was suppose to be next to die… like drown. But drowning is one of my biggest fears so that probably explains it a little.

Ugh, I hope I don’t have one like that tonight!!! Sometimes I ask my Mom to wake me up in case I’m having a horrible dream. But whenever she wakes me up it’s not a scary one. Lol, I really don’t know how to prevent it, if I could trust me I would let you know. Hopefully someone else will think of something.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help, but at least know you’re not alone.

no, there isnt a way that you can stop dreaming, because dreaming is just part of what the body does… but there are things that could be making you have nightmares things like eating cheese before bed could cause it, also stress or what you think about right before you go to bed could cause them

I have always heard that eating spicy foods or foods that cause nausea and indigestion cause bad dreams. Also, I have noticed that the majority of things I dream about come from whatever I have watched on TV that night. Meditate and think happy thoughts before you go to bed at night

Watch some really funny stuff on the internet. Ever since I put a dreamcatcher next to my bed, I stopped having bad dreams. That may work.
