About The Walrus
Who we are
Welcome to The Walrus, the new kid on the block in Toronto politics. Led by Karim Jivraj, a young and dynamic Conservative candidate, we are here to shake things up and challenge the status quo. With a background in corporate law and a passion for making a difference, Jivraj is not your typical politician. He is the son of immigrants, a dark-skinned individual who defies stereotypes and is committed to traditional values. Our team is dedicated to bringing fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the table, aiming to represent the diverse voices of Toronto’s University-Rosedale constituency.
What we Do
At The Walrus, our mission is simple: to advocate for the people and prioritize their needs above all else. We believe in transparency, accountability, and integrity in everything we do. From advocating for small businesses to promoting pro-business policies, we are committed to fostering economic growth and creating opportunities for all residents. Our focus is on building a stronger community, where everyone has a voice and a chance to thrive. With a strong emphasis on bridging different identities and experiences, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
