If you mean stop the router from showing that it’s there, so that people can’t publicly view your wifi network unless they know the name of it, I think the term is “masking” your wifi signal.

The router admin or control panel will have a list of options (eg, parental controls, port blocking, firewalling, etc) and one of those should be masking the router.
