Work Experience

I got a work experience placement coming up and I not sure what I want to do. I wanted to do something related to forensic science but found that was not possibe.

I wrote and sent out loads of letters (started back November 207) but still no reply and I desperately need a placement as time is running out. My placement is in July 2008 but my school needs to know where by end of april as they need two month notice otherwise I’ll get a crappy placement like working at my school.

I have a interest in Medicine and might want to become a doctor and now want to do work experience related like working in a hospital but someone I know must have wrote like dozens of letters to try get a placement at a hospital but all they got was no reply or your too young.

Can anyone help me? What should I do? Any advice will help, Thanks a lot.

Write letters, look on the net, make phone calls! Some places wont let you work there unless your over 16 so find out some information then call them. Or even visit them! I’m trying to get a work experience placement as well.. its really crap when people dont reply and your told you will be fined or whatever if you don’t get it sorted out. Good luck! x
