I totally agree with you questioning. I mean its not like your butt hurts for too aweful long after, and I think being able to smile about how his punishment is just beginning while yours is all done would make it enjoyable. I don’t think that is fair either, well unless the spankings don’t effect him. I believe spanking is a good way to punish, but not all are affected by the spanking. Did you brother just blow it off when he was spanked? Perhaps that is why he was punished differently. But if he reacted same as you to it then no it isn’t fair and he should get punished same as you

My opinion is no. Females worked for years and years to achieve equality and it should be held true on all ages. Your mother just has a mindset. In my opinion after you reach 13 you are too old for corporal punishment period because you are pretty well mentally developed and can distinguish from right and wrong.

I totally agree it sucks not to mention hurts and its so unfair. I reacon its because parents get worried that boys will fight back expesially my mom she would never hit my brother and she probably has good reason not to.

Girls, like boys should be spanked until they learn not to disobey or cause other troubles. If you mom spanked you, then I believe that you needed it.I am proud of your mom for doing what she thought was right.

Probably they shouldn’t be BUT boy’s faces change more, making them look adult at younger age. Also boys are more likely to resist, leading to serious conflict. Girls tend to accept and they simply look younger, facially at least, so they are more likely to get spanked at near adult ages, since spanking is often done on impulse rather than thought out.

That could be considered sexual assualt at that age…
