When can I change the bar in my septum?

I got a septum piercing yesterday (01/09/09) and I really dont like the jewellery they put in it. I got a Keeper and the ends are too long. Whens the minimum time they can either clip the ends off the keeper or I can change it? When did you finally change yours without it causing any damage?

Answer #1

between 2-3 months

Answer #2

3 months is the minimum amount of time you should wait before taking it out or attempting to change it 3 months is the minimum amount of time all piercings (except gentile piercing) take to heal

and if clip means cut, they dont cut the ends off a keeper and exactly what kind/shaped jewelrey do you have in

Answer #3

I have a horseshoe shaped bar. Its a Septum Keeper. I dont like the look of it. And thanks, I think I might just hide it till I get some good jewellery in it.

Answer #4

Go back to your piercer and tell them that you don’t like it, they will help you change it way before 3 months.
