How long tilll I can change my lip piercing?

I am going on holiday in 3days, had my lip done today, want to change the bar to a smaller one. Will it be okay if I quickly take it out and put a smaller one in?

that should be completely fine. I pierced my own, and my parents didn’t know so I had those clear retainers.. the same day I took it out and put it in. so it will be completely fine.

this is my second lip piercing, last time I took it out and changed it after a week and a half, do you think it will be okay it I change it quickly? thanks :)

your not suppos to take it out for a couple months I would definitly wait till the swelling goes down I know your triing to make it look good but the main thing is to take care of it first…

Well you’re not supposed to take it out. But if you do it realllyy fast it won’t do anything. I did the same thing with mine. But make sure the smaller bar will for sure fit if your lip is even slightly swollen. Too small of a bar can make your lip take an even longer time to heal.
