What type of colours, colour schemes should I have in my room?

I just want to know some ideas for my room on what colours and schemes to have etc. also what kind of feature walls would be nice.

well maybe you can take two of your favorite colors ( lets say pink and brown) maybe you can have the two walls that are parelell to eachother pink, and the other 2 walls brown. Like walls 1 and 3, is pink, and walls 2 and 4 are brown. (obviously the colors of your choice.) Then make sure that the wall your bed goes up against is NOT the same color as the wall. (if the bed is going up to the brown wall, make the comforter pink)

Or you can an animal print you love, (maybe lepord?) and put that on one wall, and have the rest of the walls be another color (thats goes with lepord). Thats what I did!! except I used zebra!
