What...Colour To Paint My Room, Suggestions??
So I’m painting my room pretty soon but still haven’t decided what colour. I want it to be calming, but still vibrant and colourful enough (no pastels but nothing too bright either) I’m kinda stuck on what colour and what shade of colour to choose…I like blue, purple, and green but I don’t know…suggestions? :)
What color is your carpet or floor? What color is the ceiling? What color is your furniture? What is your general style?
It has to be somehow harmonic with the place. Not working against it.
Sunny yellow with a little red/orange in it makes your room look like the evening sun is shining in through the windows. Looks cool with natural colors like a wooden floor and wooden furniture.
Green will look fresh, but light blues and greens can make a room look cold. I’d always put something in complementary color in such a room. If you have green walls, a bright red sofa or red bedcloth will ‘warm it up’. Make sure the place doesn’t get too dark.
If you do like dark colors, think about painting 3 walls neutral white and one wall with an intense shade of the color. Like one wall midnight blue and 3 walls white. That will not make the room too dark but you still have color in the room. window gets.

how about a lighter green?lighter lilac or mabe even a calmer yellow. I’m not talking canary yellow, I mean more like a softer shade.
