What subjects to be a journalist

I really want to be a journalist when im older but im unsure of what subjects I need to take, does anyone know?

How about going to the site of the university you are planning to study with and asking them. In my country you have to have English and Afrikaans (don’t think the latter will apply in your case)

Anyways my guess would language subjects, since you’ll have to be writing a lot in journalism.

english language and english literature. and media studies if your school offers it.
