weird means unique, different, and strange in a good way ii personally take it as a compliment because ii hate to be like everyone else so ii think ii’m pretty weird lOlss

Weird could be taken as a compliment if you consider it to mean unique. If you think it means strange, however, then probably not. I guess it just depends on how you look at it.

‘wierd’ has 2 different deffinitions.

1. antisocial snd strange
2. overly outgoing, original, different

I would take it as a compliment. People call me weird all the time and it really is a good thing, it means I am an individual and not one of the sheep’s of conformity.

I like being called weird XD It means I’m different from all the boring and samey people in my class…XD

Being weird isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It makes the person more interesting. I’ve been known as “weird” since I was younger. Whether it’s because I preferred to play alone instead of playing with other kids. Or if I enjoyed talking out loud to myself or to my own mind (if that makes sense. Lol). I believe it just makes the person’s personality more interesting. I would have a lot more things to talk about than people known as “normal”. But I don’t think much about it. I couldn’t be happier about being weird, even if it was my middle name. And I suppose all this doesn’t make much sense. Lol. Oh well. =o)

to me, weird is schizophrenic honestly, anything different to me is not weird I think those who THINK differently, not act differently is weird and I don’t mean not thinking for themselves, I mean those who actually think there are purple elephants flying around the room

I take weird as a compliment, just because someone is different than you doesnt make him weird (for all you know YOU are weird to him) and im happy not to be the same as anyone else, if we were all the same it would be very very boring…

The other day I was at my newly boyfriends house :), and there was a moment where I stood up in the dining area, and he was standing in front of me but on a lower level because you have to take a step up to be in the dining area, but anyway I stood there and just looked at him and he jsut looked back at me, and we just hugged. It was a passionate hug but also while he was hugging me, he told me I was weird. I stopped hugging him and said “how am I weird” he just said “not in a bad way”. So what im trying to say is weird isnt always a bad thing I’ve been told. I thought when someone told me I was weird it was because I seemed strange but thats not the case at all. I like to think of myself as different. I dont like to blend in, but love to stand out. Not meaning I need to have the spot light on me at all time jsut that im different. I see things different. I do things different. I imangine things different. I guess im weird but I wouldnt want it any other way.

it would depend on the circumstance I guess… I dont know if it’s ever MEANT as a compliment, but there are some instances where I would take it as one regardless…
