Is it weird to hold a long hug with your teacher(s)?
Guy and girl teachers. I’m planning to hug my teachers at the end of the school year.
Not really, as long as you don’t mean to be weird about it.
. It would probably be considered to be inappropriate physical contact in the UK and the teacher could be disciplined. .

It’s fine dude on like a daily basis I hug and suck up to my teacher (she now loves me :D)
I dont see a problem if the teacher is a girl as long as she doesnt do anything freaky like sigh and whisper in your ear…but obviously you know a dude would be different.

Nope, for my last day of 8th grade, the teachers gave me the longest hugs I’ve gotten. :D So it’s fine :)
i dont have a problem with it.. if you feeling comfortable then there should be no problem :)
It depennds on the type of hug. If it were touchy, and intimate feeling then no.

Personally I don’t think there is anything wrong with it but there is such a danger of it being misinterpreted that it would be foolish for teachers to hug students.
