I’d suggest doing something similar to what I’ve done: used the treadmill, changed dietary habits (somewhat - basically more whole grain whenever possible & more fruit / veggies also cut down on cholesterol, fats, etc).

Also my wife bought one of those yoga balls to help her lose weight, exercise and I think it’s working incredibly well for me too (I also sit & bounce on it, etc). Seems to work the abdominal muscles pretty well. Hope this helps.
