What is wrong with my long haired teddy bear hamster?
On christmas day I was rewarded a teddy bear hamster from my little sister. I could see it broke her heart to part with it after having just bought it from the pet store, but she had gotten attached.
Anyway, christmas day he was fine… just scared so we assumed.
However, today, the day after christmas, he is curled into a fetal position, his one eye wont open (almost looks like fuzz in the eye) and he doesn’t seem to have the strength to even get up for food or anything… even when placed right in front of him. Almost like he’s in pain… what should I do?
The pet store said they had JUST gotten him in the day before x-mas when my little sister bought him… and they said they will cover all vet bills for him for 30 day’s after purchase… but do you have any advice?
unfortuneatly, through the night he passed away… 2 day’s… weird… now to get a refund and a new hamster… it is what it is… and the pet store is gonna get an ear full lol
Yeah, demand a full refund. There is something obviously wrong with it. Returning it wouldn’t be good for it, cause it shouldn’t die familyless.
