what does it mean when Kitten hisses at person they not seen before
kitten hissed and ran of from new people, that she had not seen before, does that mean she is scared, nervous, timid or warning us from something?
Scared…timid…cats, just like dogs have different temperments…I’d known people for 12 years, who never even knew I had a cat, he was so timid around strangers.

it means she’s gotten attached to HER people and knows they wont hurt her… and she apparently has decided she has no need to get to know the new humans coming around now that she knows HERS pretty well … :) looks like you’ve got a new baby that loves you

It’s just their reaction when they feel threatened. The person should take it slow so the kitten has time to adjust.
She is scared because she dosen’t recongnize that persons scent.
She is most likely just scared. Whenever you introduce a new person, you should always do it slowly as not to scare her.
