What do think of the poem -emotional tide ?

The cold wind blew his ragged attire Amid the dust and air First rains fell with their thundering fire But he didn’t seem to care

The waters rose from the pavement floor Right up to his knees Yet he walked past those same old doors Eventhough he’ll be back with pleas

Her pale face showed from the outer window Mingling her tears with rain He’ll be back again , that she surely knows But still feels the pain

Many a time , she had vowed never to let go To sort things over and mend her ways Yet she watched him walk the pavement below Away with memories of brighter days

She is lost in her sorrow And he still got his pride They surely are to regret tomorrow As they drown in the emotional tide.

It really paints a picture - you can feel what the subjects are feeling.

Watch the wordplay and the rhythmical harmony…it seems a little unbalanced.
