What Colour To Paint??

so im going to paint my room a different colour, but I dont know what to choose… I thought maybe a medium-dark sort of blue, but then I was also thinking yellow… I want the colour to be intense but not to dark. what should I do?

Blue and yellow are actually colours that go well together. I had both in my room when I was younger, before painting it fully blue when I was older and picked for myself- I kept the yellow and blue curtains for a while though =) I would personally go with a blue for the walls, and accessorise with yellow (maybe a bedcover, chair, shelves of that colour, artwork and so on). If you don’t want too much of a clash then use a paler shade of yellow. You could even paint one accent wall in your room a bright blue, and use a creamy yellow on the other three walls. Nice and cheery and bright, but not too intense.

If you really like yellow though then go for that. Just pick which one you think you could accessorise the best/ would match your possessions, and which you would prefer to look at for extended periods. That it why I like having two wall colours, as depending on where I sit then I can vary the colour I look at.
