No, not at all. That part of your body is amazingly stretchy. Think about it, it can stretch to get a baby out and then go back to being relatively small again, so a tampon won’t affect it at all. It is very elastic and you will be the same size there after your period as you were before, whether you use tampons or pads.

Everyone’s right, but they shouldn’t be stretching you out at all, really. Make sure you’re wearing the right size; if it feels like you’re being stretched, it’s too big. You shouldn’t feel it at all when it’s properly inserted.
