How many ounces of water are you suppose to drink a day?
In fact, although the traditional answer was 8 to 10 glasses a day, many doctors and nutritionists now think that's excessive.
BUT if you are hiking at high altitudes (say, about 2,500 metres) you DO need plenty of water - as a rule of thumb, one litre of water for every 1,000 metres of elevation.
For those of you at sea level, relax, and just try to drink water and not soda pop or other junk when you're thirsty.
my doctor told me to drink half my body weight in water a day...I know its a lot and I NEVER do it but thats what your supposed to drink!
The average person is supposed to consume 64 oz. everyday. If you are active, then you need more. The more you sweat, the more you need.
I dont know in ounces but 8 to 10 is enough, no more than that though!!
You should drink 8-ounces of water daily to be healthy
umm 8-10 glasses a day...
