mothers from Asian countries use to feed their babies toothpicks?

I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks so I wondered mothers from Asian countries use? Toothpicks?

Answer #1

asians use spoons to feed a baby and also chopsticks depending on the age of the child. about the age of 24 months or earlier we start to teach them how to use all utensils. spoons, forks, chopsticks, ect. I dont know if I should be offended or laugh at this question.

Answer #4

asian mothers, especially in china, korea, japan, vietnam and taiwan, they teach infants how to use chopsticks, but if the infant below 24 months of age, they use lil spoons to feed their infants, and plus the feeding bottle.. they won’t use things that may harm their children, of course.. Ü

Answer #5

Um.. I was talking about Chopsticks not them being poor..and that says ASIAN learn how to read :)

Answer #6

That was not nice irene!! afcourse that they use spoons too. not all africa is poor!! there some really rich and normal people too, not only hungry ones…!

Answer #7

please don’t be offended. I was wondering too, I mean most of us struggle as adults to master chopsticks and children in the west can wear more than they eat with spoons lol. it must take a lot patience to teach or learn this to young children.

Answer #8

Sigh Insteaad of generalizing and saying ‘Asian moms’ you are classifying people from India,Uzbekistan,Malaysia, etc, etc, into this group where chopsticks weren’t used.Honestly,Asia has other countries rather than only Chinese/Japanese/Vietnamese/Taiwanese/etc ones.
