Ok so im making brownies and the recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of flour 1/2 cup baking coco 2 cups of sugar 4 eggs 1 cup of butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 taspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt but see my issue is I only have a cup of flour and my mother wont go get more and I really want to make them so how much of everything sould I use ? Please help lol
This is where you need to use a baker's formula:
flour 375gr = 100% = 250gr = 1 cup cocoa 125gr = 33% = 82.5gr = (a little more than) 1/3 cup sugar 500gr= 133.3% = 333.3gr = 1.5 cup egg 200gr= 53% = 132.5gr = (a little more than) 1/2 cup butter 250gr= 67% = 167.5gr = 3/4 cup vanilla 5gr= 1.3% = 3.75gr = 1/2 tsp baking powder 3gr= .8% = 2gr = 1/4 tsp salt 3gr= .8% = 2gr = 1/4 tsp
