How long should I wait to swim after eating dinner?

Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me how long I should wait after I eat dinner to swim for exercise.

it really depends on the size of the meal and varies for every person. Small meals like some crackers will clear immediately however larger meals could take up to an hour to clear. You personally have to find what works best for you. I’d suggest looking very closely at what you are consuming and your personal experiences with cramping, bloating and fatigue. You’ll find that some foods consumed immediately before an exercise can even increase your effectiveness. It’s a slippery slope! goood luck and keep swimming

usually about thirty minutes will work. it gives your stomach enough time to settle down. yoou wont get as many cramps.

45 mins work for me cuz then i have time to relax and not have as much pain in my stomach or my hips
