What would cause a spark plug to blow out of the head on a car?

I have fixed this, but would like to know what may have been the cause, I did turn up my boost 2 lbs, but this was years ago, and at the time the plug blew, the engine was not under any boost.

No, it only effected the plug, I had to re thread the head and was able to put a new plug in with no trouble. The only thing I can think of is maybe that cylinder backfire. Since I fixed this that has been no other problems.

water in the engine, happened to me when i took my truck through a lake :P i made it home, but only on 4 cylinders (i have a v8 in it)
