Should I go stay with my dad for the summer?

Well, lately I’ve been pretty depressed and possibly have anxiety.. it’s not something anyone knows because I hide it well. I hate my town. Money has been a huge issue, my brother’s in the army and I never know if he’s alive or not, and I only have a few friends who aren’t two-faced. My mom and I have different views on somethings but she’s still my best friend. However, my dad said if I went and stayed with him in NC this summer for the whole summer, I’d be guaranteed a waitressing job that has good pay. I’d love to go, but I’d miss my mom’s birthday and some of my friends.

What are your insights? should I go? I know it’s a long ways away but I can’t stop thinking about it.

Answer #3

Yeah should go you will never look back on it and think later on in life why did I care if I was leaving my friends in town when I have made such good friends here. Take every chance that comes in life or you will never know if you dont do it and wish you had done it. If you dont like it its not the end of the world to go back home and try and work out something else to do. Hope that helps you on this matter good luck!

well, in the town that you live are there any jobs that are open? you can probably get work where you live now. and another thing, do you like your father? try weighing the pros and cons of the sitchuation before you make your decision.
