Answer #2

Kind of long but if you are serious about it then its worth the read, take it from someone with experiance.

Here is how the body works: When you are eating you basically setting up a storage system for the body because your body is always consuming energy. The food is broken down and distributed as energy around the body, and the rest of the nutrients that are not needed are stored as fat for future use.
Here is how excersize works: When you work out to get rid of fat, you are actually not getting rid of it but eating it. When you first start out your body will become sore, that is your bodys way of telling you I need time to rest to figure out how to redistribute the energy. It is never a good idea to work out 7 days in a row, especially for so long. The only thing that your body can handle 7 days in a row is walking because there is so little stress involved with it. When your body does not have time to reach the fat to consume then it grabs the first thing it sees which is muscle. This is somthing that no one wants to hear but 10 out of 10 body builders agree your body needs time to adjust and the best results take time. 45 minutes every other day is the most effective way to gain muscle. Walking however is ok to do on a daily basis and it only takes 20 minutes, the body is able to handle the pace and burn off fat. When I started weight lifting it took about a month before my wife and friends were able to notice a difference, I didnt notice it myself untill the first 6 months but there was one huge difference. I started lifting 150 pounds 10 times with a 5 minute break between reps of 3, every Mon. Wed. and Fri.. After the first 6 months I was able to 100 pounds more. I owe it all to my trainer, if you can invest in one.
