Puppy refuses to potty outside
I can have my dog outside for an hour, but as soon as I bring him in, he goes to the bathroom in the house. He was originally trained to go on wee wee pads, now he goes wherever he wants, EXCEPT OUTSIDE!!!
it sounds like he might be afraid of outside do you play wit him out side or is it mostly inside cause if so just let him out more and play dare mabey bring the pads outside let him use those for a while then take dem away and that mite work its worth a try but dats how it sounds let me know how it turns out
It takes 30 days to unlearn a bad habit (wee wee pads)…and another 2 weeks to instill a good habit (outside)…Don’t bring him in till he goes…even if it’s 2 hours…Try putting a wee wee pad outside for him to sniff, he might just go on it outside…You’ve got to build the good habit on something…so lots of praise (and do try putting a pad (use one to clean up his mess inside, to use outside…this will entice him to go while outside).
